The League maintains four standing committees which are, by policy, chaired by one League Board member and made up of credit union staff or volunteers along with a liaison to the League. Those committees are:
- Education Committee
- Governmental Affairs Committee
- Marketing/Advertising Committee
- Technology Committee
In addition, there are committees comprised only of Board members and a League liaison. Those committees are:
- League Executive Committee
- Regional Service Center Executive Committee
- Budget and Finance Committee
- Bylaws and Policies Committee
- CUNA Mutual Owners’ Advisory Council Representative
- Stabilization and Operational Assistance Task Force
These committees, while helping to maintain the direction of the League and Affiliates, are also a source of involvement for credit union staff and volunteers looking to enhance their career within the credit union movement.
A call for volunteers for these committees is conducted following the League’s annual convention and service in them is varied. Committees meet at least once yearly with conference calls and other meetings being scheduled as needed. |
